Charnley House Private Residence for the Elderly

Charnley House is situated approximately half a mile from Hyde town centre, while enjoying a rural views of the surroundings. Hyde offers extensive shopping facilities including a 24 hour supermarket, a weekly market, excellent bus and train services to neighbouring towns (including Manchester, Stockport and Oldham). Charnley House is based on an Edwardian building which has twice been extended and renovated to provide excellent care and modern spacious accommodation for the elderly. The Home has 1 companion and 38 single rooms, 17 of which are en-suite.  On admission, we suggest a four to six week trial assessment period. This enables new Residents to become accustomed to the changes in their environment and be reassured within their possible new home. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing their own favourite possessions to make it feel more homely.  Charnley House has always been family owned and operated and has been providing residential care for the elderly since 1969.
