Quality of Care
We pride ourselves on providing quality care for all our Residents at Charnley House. We fulfill this in a manner of ways for each Resident.
We are aware of the requirements for each Resident by always seeking their views and choices, through continuing consultation and participation.
We ensure staff are committed to the aims and objectives of the Home and are motivated to meet the requirements of each Resident. Staff training and development is an important factor in providing quality care.
We have procedures that enable staff to do their job effectively and be responsible to individual needs. Our staff know the aims of the Home, and strive to act not only in the Home's aims, but more importantly the Residents'.
New Residents are assessed on admission. This assessment defines the basis of the Residents care, what they want, and what they need. Usually relatives, district nurses, social workers and GPs may participate in this assessment to make sure that our Residents always get what is best for them.
