It seems like we’re posting a lot of good news on here lately. Well some more good news for the pile, Charnley House has been awarded the Investors in People Silver Award! We take care very seriously and we are glad that our great staff have achieved such an accolade. Well done everyone.
We heard just before Christmas that Charnley House had been accepted onto “The Framework” to provide elderly care within Tameside. Well we had a wonderful day with Jeans for Genes. Ken Pearce was wonderful as usual and everyone had fun. We had a raffle and so in order not to ruin the surprise we won’t let you know who won until we’ve let them know! Thanks to everyone for dressing up too.
Staff do not wear jeans to work as part of their uniform but on 26-10-12, we’ll make an exception for “Jeans for Genes” Day. 30000 children are born every year in the UK with a genetic disorder.
