The staff at Charnley House are the ones who make it the place it is for the residents, and as such we highly value all our staff. We continually invest in our people, we have Investors In People Gold award, we take training and staff development very seriously. We believe that having the best staff results in providing the best care, as such 81% of our staff have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and 54% have Level 3. We have one staff member has an RMA.We also consider keeping hold of our staff to be very important for our residents, the continuity of care and friendships that form between staff and residents is fantastic for quality of care. We are proud of our staff retention, at time of writing our average time at Charnley House for staff is almost 9 years. Unlike some other homes we do not use bank staff or contracted staff carers for the care within our home and the staff we have are likely to be for a good period of time which helps relationships develop.
