The Greatest Coffee Morning in the World (Albert Road branch) on 28 September 2012 went well.  We raised £237 for the Macmillan Nurses, a good result from staff, families and friends.

The “Name the Teddy” raffle was won by Carl, Sue won the bottles of wine.  Rev Jo Parker from St. George’s Church dropped by to support the cause, always good to see her.  Staff on duty wore green and white, entertainer Ken Pierce came as a mad doctor. Many thanks to all staff who donated edible goodies as well as families and friends who supported the coffee morning.

Extra thanks to Tracy, Tracey and Freda who went the extra mile in organising the morning’s event. We’ve had residents who have benefited from the services of the Macmillan Nurses and it was worth the effort to give something back.
